This project was built entirely in Figma, a website-based software for building apps. This app is designed to let customers use a tablet to order their ice cream instead of going to a front counter, similar to McDonalds or Crumbl Cookies. The color palette and communications was selected to be simple and bright, not only to appeal to children who might want to order on their own, but for an older generation who might be intimidated by new technology. Key technology challenges included creating the buttons and a carousel of options with a customized list of adds that don’t require reading because the add is literally drawn onto the ice cream when checked.
